Hi PrettyPaula, I'm kinda late to this thread but just thought I'd add my comments about it. I don't know anything about homeopaths or naturopaths so I can't tell you if that is a better option, but if you do go to a nutritionist... beware of the difference between a nutritionist and a dietician. Here in Canada, the difference is that a dietician has to be licensed and has completed certain qualifications like a degree in nutrition or whatever, whereas pretty much anyone can represent themselves as a nutritionist because it's an unregulated term. So if you do go with the nutritionist option, make sure it's someone qualified who knows what they're talking about, like a registered dietician.
I saw a dietician several times when I first started losing weight and she really helped me a lot, but my issues were less medical than yours. Good luck!
