It is sooo embarrassing to try and fail to eat a salad.... Following any specific plan: Probably a very low calorie plan with premade shakes,etc. from my doctor, anything else will be undermined by the choices in the dorm cafeteria. What is different this time in your weight loss efforts than in the past: I am prepared to do whatever it takes. I feel a sense of urgency and determination that I've never felt before. I'm the biggest in my family and among my friends. I have never been thin, but have recently been a confident plumper. I'm tired of settling for good enough. I just wish I could get the big roles and make some $$ so I can stop waiting tables. Someday... I also love to scrapbook! Height:5'6 and 1/4" Eye/Hair Color: Green/Blonde Starting Date of Weightloss Journey: Well, I officially started exercising and cal counting Nov 16th, but I have been watching my crap intake since August-ish. Starting Weight: 173 in August Present Weight: 166 Goal Weight: 130-135 Biggest hurdle to overcome in weightloss: Snacking! I will skip meals all day in order to finish off a bag of salt and vinegar potato chips and 2-3 beers. Ugh Following any specific plan: I'm counting cals (1200-1500 cals/day) and I am currently eating mostly lean protein and fruits and veggies. What is different this time in your weight loss efforts than in the past: I am not sure why, but I have just come to a breaking point. I am fed up with being uncomfortable in my own skin! And, I feel that if I can change this aspect of my life, there isn't anything I can't do, which is motivation in itself.. Plus, I have an online support group! Hi allie!! welcome, welcome!! :) i struggle with motivation sometimes, too. sticking with it is so hard sometimes! but i'm with you, i never want to see my high on the scale again. Ever ever ever! You can do it, a little bit at a time every day :)
