OT: Christmas

So what does everyone want for Christmas?
I want:
To magically lose 50lbs :)
A BF lol
Body Bugg
Digital scale
Maybe if Santa is being generous a treadmill or elliptical :) lol

PrettyPaula 12-07-2008 04:12 PM

i actually have nothing i want.

probably if anything some more yves saint laurent make up and some new perfume.

thats it really! i just want a great xmas at work so i can earn a fortune!

DRose 12-07-2008 04:23 PM

There are three things I wouldn't mind getting:
a nice black rain proof jacket w/ hood
a trench coat type jacket with waist belt (think Audrey Hepburn)
some black boots that go at least halfway up my calves

luvja 12-07-2008 04:31 PM

Summer clothes for my trip to Jamaica the day after Christmas.... Almost impossible to find summer clothes in Canada during the winter! :(

vdaybaby 12-07-2008 04:31 PM

The most expensive things I am asking for are Gwen Stefani L.A.M.B. perfume and a digital camera.

If my family was rich, I would ask for a new tv and a new bed

Elwing 12-07-2008 05:24 PM

We don't do presents for Christmas... we do them for the 5th of December. But I would not mind a new boyfriend (though I'd rather pick him myself, actually).

junebug41 12-07-2008 05:28 PM

This year we are doing stockings and I've requested that my DH send me to the New Years Eve Flogging Molly show with my friend.

We aren't asking for anything this year from our families. We had our wedding this year, which is all we wanted. However, I do have a new winter coat on my wishlist and gift cards to clothing stores are always towards the top :)

NishKitten 12-07-2008 05:29 PM

A pygmy marmoset, or a pony!!!!!! <----Won't happen.

Oh, well, if we're talking Christmas Miracle kinda stuff:
-a dream job (ha)
-a new house
-an unlimited weekend pass to the spa
-an iPhone (not so unattainable, but TMobile has me by the, well, you know..)

Viatre 12-07-2008 05:45 PM

I really want new shoes, and clothes, and some CDs, and other stuff.
One specific thing I've decided I want is a bike lock, though, so I can ride my bike around more.

Squirrelygirl 12-07-2008 05:53 PM

I just had my wedding and got a lot of presents and the hubby and I just bought a house so I don't really need anything.

I would like:

1. to magically lose 10lbs lol
2. To actually be done renovating said house so we can move in.

TMobile doesn't sell the iPhone here. Only AT&T. My DH has an iPhone (I have a Blackberry) and I've been tooling around with his for a while and am in love. I'm an all-in-one kinda girl;)- aps+phone+ipod=awesomeness). I've become an Apple convert over the past couple of years. I'm curious about the G1, but I'm little apprehensive about it because (to me) it seems like a clunkier version of the iPhone (like the Zune is to an iPod). Again, that's just a personal preference.

I've been with TMob for over 7 years and don't want to change, but I'm in my contract for 2 more years and DH cost me $200 when I took him off my plan when he got an iPhone, so I'm stuck for a little while at least. Also- and I'm sure this is because it's the holiday season and they have new cust. service people- I have been so frustrated with the quality of care, which is what I used to like about them (I don't know what it's like in the UK, but here cell phone providers have notoriously bad customer service).

I figure if I'm going to get bad service anyway, I may as well have the phone I want, you know?

So you like the G1? Have the customer reviews been good so far?

well i did have a blackberry curve and loved it, but got a G1 on launch day, i adore it! its great, the apps are brilliant and the internet far surpasses the iphone, not to mention the music and camera.
customers love it to! we sell loads!

wow your contracts in the states are LOOONG in the uk its 18 months max!
The customer service is usually excellent, i would say if your getting poor service at the call centres then PLEASE take the time to write an email to head office. t mob pride themselves on the level of care. in the UK anyway.

usually this time of year they get alot of temps in the call centres who tend to be students and agency workers who arent that bothered about what theyre doing ya know?

QTestRDH 12-07-2008 06:28 PM

For Christmas I would like:
-To magically lose 50lbs
-FINALLY get engaged ( i know its coming but who knows when!)
-A pink movado watch I know i'm getting and just can't wait
-Makeup from M.A.C

junebug41 12-07-2008 06:34 PM

Awesome! At the very least I will pop in to a store to handle one for myself. From what I've gathered, people who have them really seem to love them.

I was certain on my last call into them that everyone I talked to was brand new or temporary so we'll see what happens when the season slows down.

Thanks for the tips!

I really want the Rachel Ray cookwear set!! I have wanted it for a few years but no one has taken my hints!!

:)

Kataclismic 12-07-2008 07:32 PM

I got an Acti-trainer (like a body bugg, but way cooler) for my birthday this week, which I love. And I got my ultimate christmas wish of being with the two people I love the most over christmas. For the first time in 3 1/2 years of dating, me, my boyfriend and my daughter will all spend 9 days at christmas together. The stars really aligned and I didn't have to grovel for days off, it fell right at my 9 days off that I get on every rotation!

I'm getting my boyfriend a bench-press though. I'm going to get "best girlfriend ever" status, fer shure!

PrincessHoagie 12-07-2008 07:37 PM

Let's see, I would like:
1. A new watch. I love my Dolce & Gabbana watch, but the leather band is falling apart!
2. Some new black pumps
3. Some new business clothes for the job I hope I get!
4. Rice cooker
5. Nintendo Wii
6. Be down to 200 lbs by January 1!!!!

luvmyinnerdemon 12-07-2008 07:49 PM

kelly315 12-07-2008 08:14 PM

I want...liposuction! No, really, I have no idea. I'm guess that's good, because I won't have to feel bad if I don't get certain things, and I can enjoy what I get more.

Iconised Ghost 12-07-2008 08:23 PM

I want some new work out clothes! And sports headphones, but i already know im getting those :D And gucci by gucci perfume. If i got some of that stuff id be pretty stoked

Bee20nine 12-07-2008 09:14 PM

I want.....

A Wii (this is seriously the only thing I have asked for and I made it a grad and xmas gift in hopes to have better chances to get it)
to lose 50lbs by Christmas
A new comforter set for my bed. (its so hard to buy for its a twin XL)

Oh it would be so great on Christmas morning to wake up and see the scale say 50lbs lighter. Crazy thing is, is that its doable, i am 43.8 lbs down as of last Thursday so we will see.

leighish 12-07-2008 09:38 PM

there is a purse at JC Penney I have my eye on. Also a peacoat from Gap. Um... a flatiron for my hair.

thats all that's really on my list. if people insist upon gift cards, i hope it dawns on them to stop buying them for chilis and maybe for clothing stores. Sigh.

Brandyc100 12-08-2008 09:14 AM

I love Christmas:) Here is my list:
- 12 inch Rachael Ray skillet

- New couch
- ENGAGEMENT RING!!! (It's been 2.5 years I think it's long enough! I'm going to be 27 in February and he is 29)
