You are not the only one! I am a huge procrastinator and cleaning just sucks. If I get started I do usually get quite a bit done though!

Cleaning is actually a good workout.

I put on my headphones and clean for at least two hours every day, but then again i've been OCD ever since I used the mattress attachment on my Dyson and sucked like two full bodies worth of skin flakes out of my bed. *gag*

You could have a Kirby Vacuum salesman come over and tell him you want a demo. They will dust and vacuum your home for free, then you just have to sort the clutter.

I need to put in a work order on my running toilet (haven't been able to fix it myself), but I've put it off until I clean the bathroom! Must. Do. It. Tonight!

I clean about one solid hour every single day. That's it--even with two kids. Hubby pitches in very little and kids help some too. There is a website called FLYLADY that is very good for people that have fallen wayyyy behind. It is free.

I find that when I am off track with eating, my house suffers too - especially clothes. My wardrobe gets really untidy.

I love cleaning my house. Love it even more when the sun is shining and Pink Floyd is playing loudly!

Oh, my house is such a wreck too! I've been avoiding it since I got back from my honeymoon in September!!! I got off work early today and decided to just start kicking butt. My office is a major improvement, but nothing else looks a whole lot better right now. But I've vowed to get it under control because my parents are coming to town for Christmas, and I have to have the decorations up! Plus I know that putting the house back in order will help with my willingness to exercise and cook more. A messy kitchen just makes me hide from it, so hubby and I have been slowly working on getting that under control -- out with the old, in with the new. Slowly, the clutter will go away!!! I demand it!!

I might know how to fix that... Take off the lid of the septic tank... Is the chain still attatched to a black plastic thing on the bottom of the tank? If so... Easy fix. Put your hand in there and hold the "plug" until the water is about an inch over it. Take hand out and see if it fills up (all the way). Flush (when completely filled) and see if it refills... If not... than get that work order in.

On topic:

I haven't done dishes in about a week... I haven't cleaned house in over 2... and now my mother of an older friend is telling me to do the dishes.

But really, I have a month's worth of clean laundry on my bed and my dishes are started to crawl out of the sink. I'm going to go on a cleaning spree tonight... as soon as I find some good music to clean to

A messy house is something I hate but often have. My boyfriend and I bought and moved into our townhouse in February. I still have boxes that are not unpacked and one of my closets is full of stuff I don't know where to put. We finally got our spare bedroom set up as an office but our master bedroom looks like a tornado has gone through it. I'm at the point where I want to throw all my stuff away. I'm thinking a good purge every now and again is not a bad idea. I have to much crap that I keep packed away in Tupperware bins. If I need it so bad why do I keep it packed away? Ok sorry for the ramble. Just wanted to let you know that I feel your pain!
