Even though I'm losing weight, my boyfriend is too (not on purpose). He's so underweight! He's 6'1 and about 138 lbs and today he was like, oh I lost more, I'm about 135 now. He's not strong either. He's never picked me up, I really wish he would/could. Being a shortie, it was the one thing I saw happening to other short girls, they'd always be picked up and protest but since I was overweight, nobody would pick me up. Can I be 28 years old and still want people to randomly pick me up? I guess it's my lifelong goal!

Like Stellart, I want to cross my legs and have my ankles touch.

I also want to not be afraid to squeeze into the backseat of a full car. Now I try to sit in the front because my hips are so wide. Also I want to not be afraid to squeeze between people for a seat on the subway. Or not worry that my hips are rolling over into someone else's airplane seat. I want my thighs not to rub together and chafe when it's hot, or for the thighs of my pants to stop wearing out. I want people to stop asking when I'm due. I want to be able to button my coat. I want a small to always fit, like it used to. I want fitted seats not to jut into my thighs.

I just want to stop taking up so much space!

my husband won't work out with me. soon I'll be able to pick him up! Okay. maybe not. He is almost 50 lbs heavier than i am.

Okay, I'll admit - I love being picked up too. I'm a small girl and I love the feeling of being lifted in the air. But I used to be too embarrassed to let it happen - like the person doing it would strain his back. All guys in Holland, I'm ready to be picked up again! Please do it! (Well, as long as you're not too old and reasonably attractive ;) )

My greatest dose of being carried was when I had sprained my ankle a few years ago and I could hardly walk. My then-boyfriend was nice enough to carry me everywhere. But then a friend of him came over and they started throwing me to each other, which was less nice.

My Motivation
 

In high school I wore a size 8 and was 138 pounds and thought I was fat. I look through my pictures and wish I could walk around in a bikini again! Bikinis are one of my motivators.

Another motivator is definitely Victoria's Secret! I can never find anything in my size there, and I'd love to be able to walk in and spend all kinds of money on cute, pretty bras instead of ugly white, beige, or black. I'd also like to be able to find cute clothes in normal clothing stores too. Most stores in the mall only go up to a size 13. Forget about wearing Hollister, American Eagle, Aeropostle....I'm forced to shop in the misses department when I'd rather shop in Juniors...

My last motivator is this one pair of boots. They are the trendy sherpa looking, knee-length boots. I ordered them online without being able to try them on. Once they got here, I could put my foot in and it fit, but I could only zip it halfway up my leg because my calves are too big to fit in them. I want to loose enough weight to be able to actually wear them this winter!

I think my hopes are dashed of every being able to do a real bikini again. I would settle I think for the boy shorts with a full bikini top--kind of marilyn monroe style or something. Of couse, my boobs are GONE so I will have to get a padded contraption.

I'd like to be able to sit on my husbands lap & not feel like I'm crushing him. I want him to be able to smother me with his arms when he holds me, which won't take much considering he's 6'3" and 235 lbs. I want him to be able to pick me up, romantically, and take me into the bed room. :o

Wow! That's awesome! Thank you for the tip. I'm always afraid to order bras online without being able to try them on, since they always seem to fit differently from brand to brand and from style to style. But with free return shipping, that wouldn't be much of a problem!

That's a fun goal! I feel a boot trying-on trip coming on.

no agreed... totally. it does suck. and it took me a while to find ones that i liked and fit. but i would order a bunch, or the same in diff sizes all in one order, and return the ones i didnt want.

also there's really helpful reviews and stuff. and you can find really pretty sexy stuff in rare sizes.

I revived this thread just because I wanted to post that DH AND I DID THAT TODAY. not at a running start but he lifted me once and I told him to do that again and I threw my legs around his waist and we kissed and well it made me think of this thread.;) :val2:
