And the scale says...
Two weeks into my new lifestyle and I got on the scale and I lost 3.2 pounds and 7 inches! I was so excited... and the sabotaging began (along with a minor donut binge). Then I had a thought this afternoon. I thought: I was working so hard at this because I'm getting tired of starting over ALL THE TIME!! I lost 25 pounds this summer and I binged myself back to my starting point and I realized that starting over and over gets tiresome. So tired of losing the same 20 pounds, I am going to stick this out and I went to the gym tonight instead of waiting until tomorrow.

Good for you honey! That's an AMAZING loss!!! Keep working hard, and know that those donuts aren't worth it!!!
(I just said "Ah, thanks, but I'm good. :)" to a cadbury cream egg and some hershey's kisses from my roommate, and I'm so proud! Spread the willpower!!!) |

That is a great mentality to have! And it is going to be what helps you keep going & keep the weight off. I have been hungry a few nights because I have gobbled down too many calories earlier in the day, but I refuse to get back to where I was before. I just drink a whole water bottle & go to bed, so that I can get up & have breakfast & try harder.
You have found a great place to get lots of support you need. I have posted threads before begging for people to help me not eat something or find something healthy to eat at a restaurant, and within in minutes I have multiple encouragers! It's awesome! I love these girls!! |
