hi ladies, i would like to join you! i'm danielle, 23, living in massachusetts with my boyfriend. i've gone up and down b/t 145 and 185 over the last 4 years...it's time to get to 145 and stay there!!
i had success a couple years ago with WW, but haven't gone back to the meetings since then. i also had never exercised in my life until i met my boyfriend last june, and he loves to run, so i started running with him (i've gotten pretty good!). i also tried jillian's 30 day shred last week, IT WAS CHALLENGING! i look forward to keeping up with everyone's progress :D |
hey daniella, I was thinking about trying the 30 day shred too. Let me know how it goes! I like that it gives you grocery lists and meal plans. I definitely need a strict plan to keep me on track. I have been unsuccessful in my past diets because its ME planning meals. I need someone else to tell me what to do.. because I obviously can't keep up with anything. I like this website because I don't like letting anyone down on here and I love changing my ticker in my signature. This week I had to change my ticker the other way. I gained 5lbs! AHHH!
Hope everyone's holiday went well! |
Hello everyone, I'd like to join this as well! I'm Stephanie, 20 years old from Michigan. I have decided now that Christmas is over it's time to DO something about myself! I am in a happy place and this would be the best time to start :) I want to lose 25 lbs by March 7th (SPRING BREAK :D) by following a low carb eating plan and lots of running! I look forward to talking to everyone and getting to know all of you!

Hi Stephanie! Welcome! This is always a great time of year to make a resolution to not only lose weight, but to get healthier. Glad you are here!
|
thanks for the welcome neesy! i haven't done the 30DS again, but i've been going on my runs and this morning i wrote out my week's meal plan (from jillian's "making the cut" book), went shopping and everything for me and my b/f was $115! eating well is definitely the hardest part for me too! we'll have to get on the 30DS together :)

Hi everyone! I'm new to 3FC and decided to finally start posting! My name is Lindy and I'm 28, and work as an accountant. My favorite things to do to work out are running, which I am pretty new to (but very addicted!), and ballet. I'm thinking of also adding a pilates or yoga class in Feb to add some flexibility or toning. I'm also just getting back into weights as well.
It's the diet that is the hardest part for me though. I love working out but I have the worst willpower, so not nibbling is tough! I wonder where I'd be if I could keep the snacking in check! But I love looking through the Goal photo albums to give me motivation! Everyone here is so supportive! My main goal this year is to run a 5K race or relay with friends. Hopefully I can stick with it! I'd love to join the 20+ somethings crew! |
Hey everybody :) My name is Sarah and I am 23. I am in college trying not graduate because of the economy and I have no idea what I want to do in life. I lied...I actually want to go into the Peace Corps, but I have parents who are afraid to step off of this continent to travel the world :/
I have been battling obesity since I was 13. I have had my ups and downs, but who hasn't :) I am losing weight really slowly because I have done the rapid weight loss and I find that it easier to maintain at a slower rate. It will nice to have some 20 somethings to connect to who battle with the some of the same issues as I do. Most of my friends at school do not have weight issues, so this will be a breath of fresh air :) |
Hey all! I'd love to join in!
I'm 19 - 20 in 3 weeks... I'm in my last year of my degree - studying communications/journalism - and aspiring news reporter, so I need to look good if I want to get my dream job! I've been struggling with my weight since, forever! I was bulemic at high school, ballooned to 167lbs when I left home, got down to 127lbs about this time last year, but now I'm back up to about 158lbs again though massive binge eating! So I have given myself a month where I can eat whatever I feel like, no dieting, as long as no binging and now I feel ready to get in control and sort this out for life! :D Hope I can help you all and you can do the same in return! xx |
New Years resolution, and I'm back! I'm going to my first WW at Work meeting today. I've done WW before, but never with a work group, so that should be interesting. I lost about 30 pounds 2 years ago, but gained it all back through stress and having a job I hated. Plus I think I packed on about 5 more pounds over the holidays, haha. Now I'm at a job I love, and I'm ready to start again. Though when we see where I am on the scale, I might be discouraged, but this time I'm going to plan plan plan and stick with it.
