I am new to this forum. I have been reading the posts the past few days and just love it! I post on a different website but this one seems more active. I have been yo-yo dieting for over 7 years! eek! :o I am hoping to lose some weight by my birthday (Dec 19).. I really want to give myself this great bday present!

I am the maid of honor in my best friend's wedding in March so I really want to get to my goal by then. I have a ticker, but I think I may buy a new scale (i think mine is on the light side) so I wont post it until I figure it out.

I am an orthodontic resident and live in CT. I am from South Jersey (outside of Philly) and that is where my parents and BF are. I like it up here but I miss my friends and family.

I look forward to getting to know everyone more!

Hey Jessie! We seem to have a lot in common! Im orgianlly from the east coast (maine) and I am a bridesmaid in my cousins wedding in May and hope to loose some weight by then, i just moved here (vegas) a few months ago and dont know anyone and miss my family and friends terribly as well, I am also new to this site and my name is Jessy!

I wanted to lose 25 pounds before my 25th birthday. I might make it, if I keep exercising and counting my calories!!

Plus, I might be a bridesmaid in August, and certainly in a lot of photos and I wouldn't be able to bare the thought of looking fat and ugly in my best friends long lasting wedding photos.... so hopefully, i'll be able to lose even more than the original plan before then.

..well, actually, I'm a Jess, or a Jessica, I don't think anyone really calls me Jessie... I don't think I exude the "cute" factor necessary for a "Jessie"... :D

I have one wedding that is very important for me to look smashing in. I (Good Lord I hope so anyway) will already be at my goal weight by October of next year, but this place is great for the maintainers too.. My best friend (guy) who always gets wasted and tells me that he loves me and we're getting married. Well one of us is anyway haha, he's getting married ON MY BIRTHDAY next year. His fiance doesn't like me so.. you better believe I'm going to be primping like its my wedding day, revenge is sweet.

Edit: oh, I'm not a Jessie, Jess or Jessica though, my little sister is-does that count?
