800 is all i ate....
i find myself struggling if i try to add more calories than that into a day....
i shall be doing so soon tho....
going to try and increase by 100 a week at a time until I am on 1200 a day....
then hopefullly maintenance will be a bit easier....

I know that you are already doing so, but I'm going to emphasize that you should really really really eat more calories than 800. 800 is crash-diet little. There is a good chance that it will push your body into starvation mode, holding on to all the reserves it has. Also, 800 is too little to get in all the vitamins and minerals you need. 1200 is a lower border. I typically eat 1400 or 1500 a day - and I lose!

Please? Do it for us?

Struggling because of the amount that you have to eat to get more than that calories-wise?

There are a lot of high-calorie foods that are healthy for you. Almonds, for example, are high-calorie and contain a lot of fat. That being said, they contain GOOD unsaturated fats, and almonds are incredibly healthy for you-- they're high in protein, fiber, calcium, magnesium, potassium, vitamin E, and other antioxidants. (And antioxidants help to boost your metabolism, which in turn, helps you lose weight!)

If you don't mind my asking, what are you eating that's keeping your calories to 800 or less a day?
