Default Metabolism Booster?

Hey Everyone, I am currently following WW, and seem to have fallen in a plateau I guess you could say, I just keep flucuating one pound, it comes off, then comes back the next week - very discouraging, and I exercise every morning before school - I think my metabolism is slow( tends to be in heavy women) DOES ANYONE HAVE A SOLUTION for me? Or some ideas to get my metabolism up? I'm laying off the starches this week to maybe one or two a day at tops - and highering my protien, but I'm not sure how much protien is too much, ya know?? Please anyone give me any advice you have! Thanks

At LA Weight Loss they have told me that to increase your metabolism you should try to eat small snacks every 3 hours. I have also learned that broccoli and apples help in boosting metabolism. Just make sure to keep eating your protein- I usually eat about 8-10 ounces of turkey or chicken a day. Good luck with your weight loss!

Thank you! yeah I figured upping my protein intake will help. I used to eat about 6 ounces of extra lean protien a day, plus maybe some egg whites in the am. Now I am eating about 10-12 oz a day and less to no starchy carbs! Hopefully this works.

Don't forget to stay hydrated! Lack of water can slow down your metabolic rate, so keep the H20 pumping.

Chicken breast is a great source of protein. I have been told there are 35 grams of protein per every 4 oz of chicken..

Green tea has anti-oxidants and is supposed to naturally boost your metabolism. I drink it black (or should I say, green) with a teensy bit of organic honey in it as a natural sweetener. Good stuff.

I drink apple cidar vinegar for my ulcer issues. In reading on the internet about the benefits of acv and its a natural detoxifier and also ups your metabolism. It definently says its not for everyone so I'm not sure but its the only thing my doctor can find to keep me from throwing up everyday! yay! The added bonus is the rest of the benefits I guess

I drink 2 tbsp of acv 2 times a day with warm water. Gross but it works.
