I have done level 1 about 5 times now and I can do almost all the exercises easily. For most I do the harder version, also without much trouble (some tiring and aching at the end, but that's normal methinks). I just have a lot of trouble with the pushups. Even the modified version when you lean on your knees instead of your feet leaves me collapsed on the floor after 5 very shallow pushups. I literally can't do any more. My guess is that my arm strength is just not built for pushups, my parents and both of my brothers are very bad at them too, so that might have something to do with it. What should I do? Try to do them anyway? I have seen some of the harder pushup-like exercises in the higher levels and I really don't think I will be able to do those. Or maybe an alternative strength thingy? Any suggestions?

good job princess2323, and just FYI, you may see more inches shed if you measure your waist line at the narrowest part of your waist rather than across the belly button - you can measure in both places just to see! i see many more inches shed at the narrowest part, which is actually considered the natural waist.

keep it up everyone, i'm really pretty sure halloween sabatoged the weight i'd lost this week - i was down to 172.8 on wednesday, from 174 on monday! and then this morning, the morning after halloween, i was up to 174.5! yikes! hopefully my weigh in tomorrow isn't too bad! i really do feel that 30DS has helped me so much though.

does anyone else feel like you're sleeping better, doing the 30DS? I do!

I did level 1, day 6 today. That first cardio circuit gets me everytime. The second round of jumping jacks and jump rope are a nightmare! I haven't previewed levels 2 and 3 yet. I can't wait to switch it up though!

Elwing, start with wall pushups and then work your way down to table pushups, then box/stair pushups, then real pushups. Anyone can do them, it just takes gradual conditioning. Do as many wall pushups as you can then rest and do one more quick set. When you feel like you can do more than 2 sets then move on to table pushups, etc. You'll adapt faster than you think.

Still here, still doing the 30DS. I'm one day away from starting level 3. So excited!

I seem to have a hard time with the bicycle crunches too! I always feel like I'm pulling on my neck or not doing them correctly. Also the side lunges really hurt my ankles. Not sure why but I absolutely hate them!!!

I have the worst trouble with the bike crunches too, haha when she does it it looks so natural, but I am more like "Um, oh, now I do this with my legs, and oh no wait I should move my arms too, left or right? oh **** I was waving my legs aimlessly about, well whatever, the exercise is over now anyway" I think I have called JM every bad name that is in my book about now. I'll probably start level 2 in a few days. I haven't done it everyday like you really should, but I do it as exercise when I don't have time to go running or swimming. Wish me luck.

Thanks for the tip about the wall pushups JoyfulVegGirl . I didn't even know those existed but they really help!
