Those boots are HOT!! Day 5 level 2 complete. I worked my butt of today. I was a little upset bout something so it made me kick my workout into high gear today. I feel freakin awesome.

Hey I'm back from my mini-vacation. Where'd I go? Lazy-ville!

I took 3 days off for no good reason. It's becoming clear to me that I *HAVE* to do my workout before work. It's such a mental struggle to convince myself to do it after work, sometimes its physical too, as I'm hungry and have low energy. Anyways, I hope I can make it the remaining 20 days with no breaks. That's my goal.

Level 2 was not that bad. Hard, yes. But you guys kind of scared me!! Granted I did the wimpiest versions of most of the exercises, but I wasn't too hard on myself--it took me til about Day 8 for Level 1 to be easy and I remember feeling so overwhelmed by it on Day 1.

I have a new concern and that's my ankles. They were hurting on the last level some, especially with jumping jacks and lunges. This time they hurt a LOT, and of everything I want to ache on me during a workout, ankles are not included!

This level was the first time I can feel the ab exercises... I have some weak stomach muscles but that last level did nothing for me--Level 2 is much more challenging, in a good way.

Day 27 complete.

I'm scheduled to finish on Wednesday. To be honest, I haven't thought about what I'm going to do when I finish. I know that I'm going to incorporate 30 Day Shred into my workouts at least 3 days a week, though. I'm thinking of maybe doing 5 more days of Level 3 when I finish the first 30 days.

If they're truly hurting you to the point that you feel you might be causing yourself an injury, you could modify the cardio parts. Instead of doing jump moves, do the shadowboxing or another one of the cardio moves that doesn't put stress on your ankle. You're still getting cardio in, just without risking injury to your ankle.

Or it could be something as simple as wearing different, more supportive shoes. I've been wearing the shoes I run in during 30 Day Shred to make sure my ankles are supported during all that jumping.

Joyra- try dong the knee circles before you begin the warm up. So them slow and completely really taking the time to stretch those joints. I never realized how often my ankles popped until I started doing those daily. It even helps me with leg soreness!

day 28 done.... I have finally lost two pounds! Yay! I'm going to do my measurements on Tuesday. I'm curious to see what I've done. This morning I was laying in bed not wanting to get up and I felt all of my muscles on my core. I was so surprised. Less and less fat!

So I decided that I'm only doin 8 days of level 1 which I finished already. 8 days of level 2 but I have to work tonite so I won't exercise today. I'll do day 6 level 2 tomorrow. All 10 days of level 3. Sometimes I get tired of the same old rountine so I decided to switch it up and see what happens. Good job to all of you out there.

Day 24 Done! I am scheduled to finish this Saturday, 10/25. So my final weigh in and measurements will be Sunday morning! Yay! This is the longest I have ever stuck with anything!

I started over as punishment for 4 straight days of not doing it for no reason. I did day 6 of level 1 today and everything is great except for I still cannot do pushups the entire time they do. I can do pushups on a stability ball all day long but apparently I suck at NORMAL stuff. I can't do the knee ones, I never have been able to, so I do 20 the first round and 10 the second. boo.

Anyhow- I was in the middle of circuit 2 today when my bf came in sat down on the couch. A month ago, I would have turned it off and waited for him to leave, but I had no problem finishing it while he just sat there staring at me! Woo.. go confidence!

BTW: Congrats to all of you ladies that are about to finish up. I'm super excited for you and all of you are truely an inspiration for me to keep going even when I want to punch Jillian right in the face during shadowboxing.

I just came home from Target, where I bought toilet paper, dish soap, laundry detergent, annnnnndd.... the 30 day shred!! They finally had it in stock!

So tomorrow I'll start day 1 level 1 -- gotta get psyched up!
