I got married a few weeks ago and our marriage commissioner was just plain cuckoo. She got my husbands name wrong TWICE and three of his four kids name's incorrect. She also came into the ceremony, put her podium upside down and couldn't figure it out. It wasn't really embarrassing for anyone per se because it was such a casual affair, but people love to call my husband Adam now, which is nowhere close to his name.

When my half-sister got married, her half-brother (on the other side) fainted during the ceremony. The JOP's wife caught him and sat him down in a chair. I guess I should have shared my years of chorus/choir experience with him and told him NOT TO LOCK HIS KNEES!

He was the one I had to walk with during the recessional, AND he was nearly 2 feet taller than me... and because he was feeling dizzy and embarrassed and just wanted OUT, he was power-walking down the aisle and I was jogging in my long dress and heels to keep up, lol.

I think my sister and I inherited the same sense of humor from our dad, because she thought it was hilarious.
