I don't stop eating just because it's after 8... o 9... or 10... but that very well may be why I am overweight. LOL.
Though, I have lost two pounds this past week and a half, I still eat past 8pm, and in fact, I eat when I get hungry even if its 12 at night. I just make sure I don't eat over a certain amount of calories.
