I can assure you that if you make a design, there will be someone out there who has thought of the same thing. What makes you unique is all on the inside -- and part of what makes sh315 who she is is that she cares about what her father thinks. Caving in to peer pressure is the opposite of unique.

i agree. in all situations my motto is "do you" dont worry about what everyone else is doing or is not doing. my mom despises tattoos and i have two. but i was "doing me" and it was solely my decision. you know what is right for you honoring parents is rarely a bad idea.

I agree that respecting your parents is important; however, you're an adult and it's your body. And tattoos can be easily hidden if you don't get them in obvious places. ;) Mine is on my shoulder blade, so it only shows when I wear shirts that are cut low in the back or when I put on a swimsuit. And when I'm nekkid! When I get my next one, it's going on the other shoulder blade - I'm a fan of symmetry.

BI wasnt implying she should give in to peer pressure, I meant to not worry if other people felt she wasn't unique. And I beleive even if tattoo designs are similar, the story behind each is surely different.

My mom is 48 and she has her belly button and nose pierced. She also wears low cut shirts because she's hot and confident and she wants too :0) I love people like that, so I say do what you want!
