I can totally relate. My willpower sucks. :( Whenever I get cravings, I usually drink a glass of water. Our bodies interpret thirst as hunger sometimes. But if you're hungry, your body will mean it. Eat something like a banana or some sugar-free pudding I know it's not carbs but it'll help.

I workout or do something physical when I have a craving...or ask myself if I am just hungry or is there something else bothering me.

I find adding something that contains a little healthy fat really helps. I love snacking on raw almonds. They do get rid of any cravings I may be having for something sugary or starchy.

have you been going cold turkey on the sugar? That might explain the shaking...i had to ease myself off slowly (i had to do the same with caffeine!) because otherwise i would feel horrible and have this massive midafternoon slump

I agree, cravings are the worst. Especially when you are grocery shopping and you see all the stuff you crave and know you can't buy it ...oh so tempting. I just drink lots of water when I crave anything and usually it works, other times I just suck it up.

the worst for me is when someone offers me a dessert, or some chocolate :( i know they dont do it deliberately to foil my plans, but its so cruel >.<

I agree! I can't say no!

i honestly eat what i crave but in moderation! for instance, when my TOM is here i get a snack baggie and fill it with hersheys kisses and thats all the chocolate i am allowed for the week. Before i would have at least 2 of those hersheys symphony bars a day. Then i kick it up a notch at the gym.

i use frosted flakes as a meal or such to solve my sugar cravings, not sure if this is the best or wrose things though

Well, I personally am a calorie-counter. And while most people will probably disagree with my method, as long as I'm within my calorie count I'm ok. For instance. I had a PB&J sandwich today (380 calories). I also had a Klondik ice cream bar (170 calories), 100 calorie pack of Grasshopper cookies, a Lean Cuisine lasagna (320 calories) a small salad (with the 1 cal/spray dressing) and an apple for lunch (~100 calories). I'm big on Lean Cuisine meals and 100 calorie packs that satisfy my sweet tooth. Bc to be honest, if I'm too strict I'm not going to stick with it. Am I losing weight a little slower than I could? Maybe. But I've lost 25 lbs this way.

You have to find something that works for you. And being super strict doesn't seem to work for you. So maybe you could try the 100 calorie packs as a way to limit your intake. Bc once the bag is empty-it's empty! I find that really helpful for myself (bc if I had a bag of smartfood, I'd eat the bag of smartfood no matter how big). I have little to no willpower too...but since my diet is less restrictive I don't feel like I'm being cheated. Good luck!
