Oh wow.. 16 pounds in that short amount of time is GREAT!!! Congrats! Also, if the lady in the mirror is telling you otherwise, get a tape measure and ask your hubby to measure you... like chest, tummy, waist, hips, and thighs..and arms. (that's where I measure myself at..) Sometimes you may not see it but you will be able to tell when you actually measure. I lost about 8 inches my first month but only about 2 pounds. So I keep my tape measure near me and measure every month. Also, you may start feeling that clothes are getting lose and bigger. Also, like PenChick said, think of the benefits. Getting more fit and healthier is another great benefit of working out, on top of losing weight. My back used to hurt bad, along with my legs. I couldn't stay standing for long time because of that. I'm great now with both my legs and back. I have no problem whatsoever even going to zoo and walking for hours and hours.
Welcome to 3FC and keep up the good work. Set up mini-goals..What about 10% at a time? So that it gives you the feeling of achievement...
