hi lilukay!! Weighing myself daily drives me nuts too, so i try really hard not to do it (but sometimes i just too eager to see the results i want so bad!)

lilukay 07-15-2008 12:14 AM

I'm the same way, so eager to see those numbers move!

Iconised Ghost 07-15-2008 12:16 AM

if we waited though i guess we would have a much nicer surprise at the end of the week :D which would be quite rewarding...

but i still wanna know now XD

Hey ladies! I've been super busy lately and haven't had a chance to get on here...gosh I have a lot of catching up to do!! Just wanted to say I hope everyone's week is going good so far...be back on later! :)

I'm so eager to see those numbers move, but to me, it makes more of an impact if I only do it once a week, rather than once a day.

I weigh morning and night and it drives me nuts.. but I am compelled to do it and I can't change.. I have tried!! I am happy I am off work tomorrow but I am going with my Mother to a doctor's appointment to possibly get her a breast reduction. She is like a size II. They are huge! But I definitely missed out on that gene!! Oh and on a bad note, my belly skin is starting to droop.. anyone have any advice for that?

I had a great day "back"

Started with my oatmeal and then 60 minute workout with my trainer which I totally kicked some booty and then ate lunch at whole foods and had 4 pieces of raw fish and a small organic salad with lemon juice and had some yerba mate (same thing I had for dinner), cleaned the WHOLE apartment, ate an apple with some babybel light cheese and I am going to have a fajita salad for dinner! I am really proud of myself getting back into my habits right away after camping.

I am also going to try to add fresh lemon juice to the water I drink...I really don't know if it will do any good...but I read something about it on Tara's blog so I gonna give it a go.

I want see those number move too, but I refuse to weigh more than once a month (if that) because I weigh myself waayyy to much....and then I also like measuring inches more than I like weighing myself and then I only do that once a month.

Hope everyone is having a good day!

I am having the worst time kicking late night snacking habits. This has ALWAYS been a struggle for me.

My second big obstacle is pure boredom. I live in a college town (I'm in college and lived here for the summer to take classes the first 6 weeks) and virtually everyone is gone. On my days off, I just hang around the apartment for the most part (I go to the gym and shop and such, but that only takes up so much time). There's just so little to do and it's SO hot out that I find myself in the apartment... and then I eat because it's there. I really need to work on keeping only healthy foods around so when I do snack, it's not a big calorie punch.

Once I get back into my habits and back into school, I'm hoping it'll come easier.

wwo you only weigh yourself once a month! Thats some willpower! Ive kinda broken the once a day weighing...now its just once everytime i have a shower at home >.<

Snacking is really hard to break as a habit...I think what i did was i broke it slowly, so i wasnt allowed a whole dessert, then i wasnt allowed any dessert, then no biscuits

taragettingthin 07-16-2008 02:21 AM

Taylor, I'm proud of you, too, that you are getting back into "habits"! Let us know how the citrus does in your water. :D

Wow, all of you who weigh less than once a day, I'm impressed. I weigh obsessively. Ah well, what are you gonna do.

Pants sizes are so sketchy. I can now fit comfortably into 10's from lots of different stores, so I was looking at sizing charts, and everywhere I looked said size 10 pants are for waist sizes of 29-30 inches. Let's be honest, I do not have a 29 inch waist. It's 32 on a good day. So what gives?

Taylor86 07-16-2008 11:12 AM

Maybe you do have a 30" waist!

lilukay 07-16-2008 03:57 PM

Wow.

Today is the first day in awhile that I feel thinner than normal. I've barely worked out and barely started eating better again, but I think my mind knows that I'm trying and so I see myself a little thinner in the mirror than I have in the previous weeks. I know I haven't actually lost any weight yet, but it's still a good feeling, even if it's short lived!

lilukay 07-16-2008 04:00 PM

I forgot to mention- I'm leaving for vacation Friday (going to my parents' house 3 hours away tomorrow) so I won't be online for a little over a week, but I WILL BE BACK! :)

Iconised Ghost 07-16-2008 06:00 PM

if you feel thin now, wait until you start working out! :D although i get disappointed when i realise i dont look as thin as i feel. But that'll come. Have a nice vacation!
