I think sometimes I think it's more convienent. Faster. I know it doesn't make much sense, it's not really faster. Just old habits die hard.

I make my own pizza and it's fabulous. I get a healthy, organic sourdough crust from Whole Foods. I use a little bit of spicy marinara with extra garlic. Then, I top it with healthy toppings - spinach leaves, sun dried tomato, kalamata olives, pepperocini and a tiny sprinkle of low fat/fat free feta. It is so good, I like it just as much as I ever liked Dominos - I look forward to MY pizza night, it's a treat for me

If you want Chinese, I'd recommend P.F. Chang's - all of their nutritional information is posted online so it's easy to have a yummy Chinese dinner while making a good food choice. I love the Cantonese scallops. I get the scallops, an order of brown rice and and the spinach - it's plenty for 2 meals, so I have a healthy lunch for the next day. P.F. Chang's now have great tiny desserts too - like 200 calories for the tiamarsu cup and it's really good!

If you do want a treat, I would advise a treat MEAL and not a treat DAY. One good thing to practice is how to get back on plan - because when you're maintaining your weight loss it's something you'll do a lot. You'll eat something not on plan and then you have to decide 1) I ate artichoke dip, is the rest of the day ruined as I might as well have nachos for dinner OR 2) that was a nice treat, I will be back on plan at the next meal. I literally make the decision to get "back on track" several times per week and it is a KEY to my successful weight loss.

I can do a LOT of damange with an entire offplan treat day and I find it much harder to get back on track.

A trick I use to combat those "I just want to cheat" moments is to go to the gym...then after I have worked so hard I don't want to throw away that workout on food...like yesterday I was going to the movies and I really wanted a popcorn and soda...but then I remembered how the gym was and did I really do all that work just to consume a ton of calories? Can't say it works all the time...but at least it did last night
