Do Mossimo jeans y'know the target brand run small.. I wear like 14's in everything else and then 17's there and they are TIGHT! TIA

Could be that your 14's are ladies and the Mossimo 17's are juniors...I run into this a lot. Ladies (US) sizes usually run even numbers 6-8-10-12-14 while Juniors run odd numbers, 5-7-9-11-15-17. I too wear a 14 ladies (old navy jeans, etc) but a 17 or 19 juniors (17s are pretty tight on me too). I have not tried the Mossimo jeans specifically, but that's my thought... :)

The entire brand tends to run small on me as well. And yes, they are ladies.

I agree with dani4a. I think they do run smaller.

Thanks! I got them in the section where all the bathing suits are.. I really don't know if it's juniors or not. I was just like oh yeah 15 WAY too small! haha

That might explain why I never get anything from Target. Whenever I try anything there, I get depressed... so I tend to stay away from their clothing section. :P

I find this interesting. I wear a size 17 in mossimo both jeans and shorts, but other brands of junior size 17s I cannot fit into because they are too small. I tend to wear size 20 in most other brands. I definatly could not fit into a size 14 in any brand right now even if it is ladies. Maybe it is the way I am built, but I kinda thought mossimo ran big.

Yeah, for me the ladies run big, and the jrs. run maybe a teeny tiny bit big. I think it's a body shape thing because a lot of their stuff gaps at the waist for me (like 3 or 4 inches even when it fits everywhere else).

You could be right. It may be a body shape thing. I have a large stomach and tiny thighs, and while mossimo jeans always fit in the legs, i'm usually a couple inches away from zipping them.

At Express and American Eagle I wear size 12 jeans. I only have shorts from Target - both Mossimo - size 13. I also have all the curves any woman could possibly have - I'm not missing boobs, butt, hips, or thighs!!! :) I really find it amazing some sizes that people are - it truly blows me out of the water because seriously - with my height and when I was between 200-227lbs...I was always wearing a 16-18 - I don't have a clue how someone 5 inches shorter than me who weighs over 200lbs can wear a 17 in anything!!! It's just a curiousity issue here now.....I know we all have different body shapes - but it is still so freakin weird for me when I read about different peoples height, weight, and sizes.

Anyways...I think Mossimo run normal...

I don't know about Mossimo jeans in particular, but I do tend to have to add 3 when I convert from misses to juniors sizes (I'm a 12 misses and 15 juniors, and used to be a 14 misses and 17 juniors).

l00py, I think a UK 12 is a US 10.
