Yesterday was much much better than my first day back. No binge sessions. My dinner wasn't the healthiest but it wasn't too bad and I must have eaten just enough because I didn't get the nighttime munchies like I always do when I don't eat enough during the day. I had the intention to lift at the gym yesterday but after 90 minutes of full court basketball, I had enough for the day. Today I plan on lifting, running, and playing volleyball for about 2 hours.

Good luck today everyone!

HappyMomma -- How great that you got to see hubby! Sometimes you don't realize things until you haven't been around them for a while...and I bet hubby was thinking the same thing about you!! And congrats on getting down some more weight, as well!!

It's still going a little rough for me. My show opens next week, so I'm in rehearsal every day, plus I have 11 hours on Saturday and 13 hours on Sunday....so yeah...sort of no time for anything. I'm still eating pretty well...on breaks from rehearsals when everyone else grabs cookies, etc., I make sure and grab some yogurt or something. There's a LOT of dance in the show, so I'm still getting some activity, but I'm feeling a little down about my body lately

Also (sorry, some of you may think it's TMI) but my period is way late. I took a pregnancy test and it was negative (WHEW!) but it's still sorta freaking me out! I've always had somewhat irregular periods, and I don't FEEL pregnant and I'm not showing any other signs or anything, but it's still just unsettling. Is it normal for periods to kinda stop when you're stressed out?? As you can see from the schedule above...relaxation totally doesn't exist in my life right now...could that be it???

Thanks for the help in advance, ladies!!

Yup, stress can trigger late periods.

Also, one time I was so stressed out about thinking I was preggo that my period didn't come for weeks...even with a negative test and on BC pills.

Try to get some "me" time....even 20 minutes on the treadmill or even a nice relaxing bath...without going over your lines or music!

Today has been an exhausting day. I think the whole finals pressure it starting to get to me. I’m going to spend the next hour or so just strategizing a schedule of what I need to do so that I can get though them. I’m sure things will turn out but I just need to stop stressing. I realized when I was leaving my internship for class today that I had only ate like half the food I normally plan, I skipped my yorgut and wheat germ this morning, I hadn’t had my apple or my 100 calorie pack. So I decided to eat the apple but I got to get myself together and get everything strait.

My internship is starting to get to me too. I am one of two students staying this summer so they keep operating under the theory that I can take all of the big cases. The only problem is how many big cases can I efficiently manage and review. The big cases are a lot of work and take a lot of time. I guess I should stop whining I am getting an invaluable experience and possibly opening up doors in my future.

Taylor – that is so great that you are pushing yourself with a trainer I wish I could afford one.

HappyMomma – Glad to see you back and I’m happy you go to see your hubby. I was wondering where you were all week.

Glitter – Good job being binge free.

Arts – If you’ve always had irregular periods I wouldn’t worry too much, I have heard that they can stop with stress however you may want to go to the doctor and see what is going on because there can be other long term problems causing your periods to be irregular like cysts on your ovaries.

Today was my 10th workout with TransFirmation DVD.. Well, it says you will see result after 10 workout sessions and there is a section for measurements of before and after in their booklet.
I got measured on Apr. 7 at the gym. I did 2 sessions of the DVD before I got measured at the gym. Well, I didn't compare the result from the gym to the result today. But compared to the measurements from the day before I started the DVD, I lost total of 11.5 inches. I actually lost 12.5 inches, but somehow gained 1 inch in my mid thigh..so 11.5 inches in 10 days. So I was pretty happy about that! I try to weigh myself every Monday so I didn't actually weigh today. =)

Other than that, nothing much happened today really. I ate lots of veggies, tuna, egg, whole grain rice...and so far had over 1 liter of water...and I got 8 hours at work to go so I'm sure I will be able to manage to get 2 liter today.

I didn't get to go to the gym today because I was just too tired in the morning to wake up early enough for it before going to picking up my daughter. I'm going to make it tomorrow, though, as it's rest day for the DVD. I will come back later so I can go do some work and homework done. =)

Ugh - today my eating was so random - so was the weather. Yesterday it was a beautiful 80+ degree day and today it was snowing....but that's Colorado for ya.

Today I have eaten:
1 artichoke (76 calories)
1 grilled cheese sandwich (made with laughing cow swiss and sarah lee light wheat bread) (160 calories)
Bag of popcorn (210 calories)
1 Skinny vanilla latte (90 calories)
1 petite vanilla scone (130 calories)

Total Calories: 666 (kinda a weird number, huh?)

I haven't exactly eaten a meal today- I have been dealing with finals and papers and tests and just little things that have built up all on today. I thought for sure I had eaten way above my calorie mark but it seems as though I haven't even made it to 1,600. Weird.

I think I will make some dinner later...but it's already 8pm. It was just a weird day and I am kinda glad it's over and tomorrow I need to stick to my eating plan.

Remember It seems as though finals week is getting to you too, huh?

Target Good job, babe! It seems as though you are doing great! That's awesome!!

I just wanted to check in again before bed. I'm starting to de-stress a little bit. It helped making my list of things to do helped. I got though a bunch of note cards today and realized I'm strating to get this stuff.

Taylor - Thanks for the complement, I just started exercising again. I use to run 5 days a week but I developed GERD because of having my gallbladder removed last year (which I didn't know what it was from November to March) which caused a lot of abdominal pain so I actually had to stop exercising and running is now a no no for me. So that is how I started biking. I really enjoy it and I feel as though I'm working out harder. But looking at your last point make sure you are getting enough calories in, some days it feels like I'm eating all the time but I find if I go to low with my calories then I don't lose weight.

Tara - Good job getting all the water in.

Target I know your screen name is Tara....but when ever I read it looks like Targettingthin.....So I now shall Dame you Target....48jy59 (LOL my cat is trying to help me type. SO Cute....my cat must like you too!)

RememberI have no idea how I did make my calories today...tomorrow I will stick to my *3A (haha my cat again!) *stick to my plan again. I am not a huge fan of running because my "girls" like to try and give me black eyes but I like the bike too. My true love I am finding out is weight training and boxing. I feel so powerful when I am lifting and boxing...like "girl power".....or something like that. Haha. And anyway, biking it better on the joints than running...but I am still sorry you can't run.

Taylor & Remember - My favorite cardio is the Cybex arc trainer. We have a couple at my school's fitness center and they are the least awkward machines I have tried yet. I hate running, and I feel like I'm always lurching around on the elliptical, but the arc trainers are very smooth.

Tara (or Target ) - Congrats on losing all those inches! And good work with the water; I used to drink a ton, but recently I haven't been as thirsty (maybe because I'm not eating as much salt), and I have to make a conscious effort to drink enough.

I'm finally out of the 170s! (Forever! Or at least until TOM... ) Yay!

Yesterday I was sooo good
I exercised for 4 hours. Yes, thats right 4.
I ran for an hour, did circuit training for an hour, and played volleyball for 2.
I'm sore in a good kind of way today. Today is definetly my rest day.
Well, I might go swimming with some friends but thats more for fun.

I finally feel like I'm back in the swing of things. Yay!

4 hours?

Although working out is good for you...that's kind of extreme...and making me nervous you are going down the road for another disease.

With all that working you NEED to make sure you are eating enough. A lot more than you probably think you need and drinking water.

Yeah, 4 hours a day (even every other day) makes me nervous. Is that a habit with you?

Yay I survived my birthday! I was really nervous that I would totally just fall off the wagon and eat like there was no tomorrow, but I made a plan and stuck to it. Had a couple of coworkers that kept trying to get me to eat sweets and some friends during dinner that wanted to drink more, but I was able to just say no. Next challenge will be Passover dinners this weekend. So many challenges!
