Ive lost my first 10 lbs..and am still going strong. I know its not a lot and its taken me 6 weeks to do it but every time I try to lose weight I am really good for a week or two and then get distracted and give up. This is the longest time I have ever stuck with it and right now I have no intention on giving up. Life is good and it hasnt been a chore to loose the 10 lbs, so will just keep doing what I have been doing and hope it keeps working.

Not really much point to this, I just wanted to tell someone.

Congrats! 10 pounds in 6 weeks is not much!? Thats a great accomplishment, don't sell yourself short. I've read at 1-2 pounds a week you'll be able to maintain at the lower weight long term better, and you're losing close nearly 2 pounds a week on average, thats really good :)

That is great! Congrats on your loss. It is good you found something you can stick with. It is best to take your time with the weightloss. When you lose it quick sometimes it comes back....maybe even double. I am happy for you!

Thanks everyone, the support and encouragment really helps. Ive been having the most stressful day ever, but coming here to read this has helped me keep it together and not throw in the towel. I know normally I would be knee deep in chocolate bar wrappers by now. Instead, I came here, read for a bit, has a sensible lunch and stuck to what I know works.
