Default Any Metalheads??

Hey guys! I am new here... just starting my journey into the wonderful world of weight loss...

Anyway.. I love metal music more than anything.. I was wondering if anyone had any good metal "Cardio" music

So far my Ipod is comprised of all of Sonata Arctica as i found nothing motivates me more than power metal... :P

Any Suggestions would rock! \m/

Hi, I listen to all types of music for exercise, but find "Thunderstruck" and "Back in Black" by AC/DC pretty good when I'm trying to keep up a good beat. "The Final Countdown" by Europe is a favorite. "It's My Life" and "You Give Love a Bad Name" by Bon Jovi, "Welcome to the Jungle" and "Paradise City" by Guns 'n Roses, "One" by Metallica has a few good beats. And this isn't "technically" metal, but I find "Smells Like Teen Spirit" By Nirvana pretty pumping. Plus "Rock and Roll" by Led Zeppelin.

I love metal too, I grew up in the eighties listening to it.

'heh... thanks... 80s metal is my favourite... Especially old Metallica songs, they are like 8 minutes long, so if you really get into two or three of them- well, it just makes my cardio time fly

I love good music. Period. LoL. Metal, some, but not for workouts- that would be destressing/relaxing/sex music. For workouts I have korn, combichrist, mindless self indulgence, london after midnight, rammstein, epica, dresden dolls, system of a down, emily autumn, scooter, and a few other pieces that don't really fit but make me feel good and make my *** move.

Korn for sure is awesome when working out. Metallica, 5 finger death punch, slipknott, three days grace (yeah, not really metal, but still good), deathclock, rammstein, Otep, the list is endless! lol... Good to know theres some metal heads in here!

You may also want to try the Alternachicks forum too! Some of us with alternative musical tastes haunt that forum!

Pardon a 30-something for dropping into your forum, but I found this thread associated with an Alternachick, so I followed it. Y'all's taste in music is closer to "up my alley" than any of the junk on most workout videos now.

I'm not so much "metal" head as "rivet" head. I heart industrial, and it's GREAT to work out to. Go back to the mid-90's, and there was a lot of really aggressive-yet-dancy stuff going on. My workout faves are Die Krupps "Metal Machine Music" and Die Warsau's "Red All Over". And even though I can't stand AFI, I'm loving Blaqk Audio's "Stiff Kittens" right now.

I'm not so much a metal head as a hardcore chick, but I do LOVE working out to Every Time I Die...particuarly their more recent albums. It's like a party for my ears and it really gets my adrenaline going

I am a huge metal fan.

I suggest Machine Head.. my favorite song to work out to is "Halo" its about almost a 10 minute song and it goes through all these different speeds its just GREAT for cardio.

Welcome to the boards!
