Searching the forums

Does anyone else have as much trouble searching as I do? Apparently anything you use in your search terms has to be more than 4 letters, which doesn't make sense. For example, I was trying to do a search for 8 Minute Abs, but 8 and Abs were too short, so I can only search using "minute". Well, I'm sure there are hundreds of thousands of posts with the word "minute" in them. So, is this a normal thing, or do the board gods just now like me? :?:

yeah i hear ya. that is wicked frustrating, right?? maybe there's some info in the Help forum? Perhaps you could search for it..."search" has enough letters in it!
Oh, and how bout that bit where you have to wait 60 seconds between searches? what on earth??

Annoying

This kinda stuff gets on my nerves...which is not good for a caffeine addict who is under too much stress! You could try spelling out the number eight...but...uh...I dont know if the computer is smart enough to associate 8=eight...

Sorry, hope that might work!:dizzy:

I tried that, too. Mostly the posts were with only "Minutes" in it.

You can put "8 minute abs" in quotes, which will return the whole phrase without word length limitations.

Oh my goodness! I am have a problem with the search function right now. I am looking for body pump, which is fine for the search, but the search results are for body or pump, not those two words and not those two words in a string. That happened even after I put my search in quotations. That 60 seconds thing is a nuisance too! I'll check the help section to see if I can get some answers, but thanks for this thread.
