back again....don't you love reading that

So I'm guessing things got out of control for me over the past year - I don't even know how. I sprained my ankle some time in the summer and I guess that catapulted me into a 20 pound weight gain. I'm 30 pounds heavier than I was last time I went to the doctors in sept 06....it's bad. very bad. I feel it in my stomach especially - what is it people say about an extra tire around their belly - I can't believe I actually feel like I have the spare tire....
so I don't know what to do. Trying to do the 6 meal thing I guess and keep it LOW cal. It will be hard. I got stressed busy and out of control (and I don't think with just eating) - so now to reign back and gain control will be hard.
but I also didn't post - which may have been a problem.
Arg, its hard to start all over, and now to have to lose that 20 pounds too - its like having the boulder pushed up the hill, and it falling futher than when you started. Why wasn't I just born skinny!!!!! (and with smaller boobs!!!)
all right. to try again and conquer.
B

Welcome back! :)

Here is such a great place to vent, find support and share all those annoying things about weight loss... I hope this forum will help you once again. :)

Getting back on the horse is the greatest thing you can do for yourself, so congrats and good luck! I'm also looking for a way to deal with stress other than overeating. So far I've been fairly successful trying to get myself to go for a walk or do a bellydancing video tape and cut up a nice piece of fruit to eat (fyi, a thinly-sliced apple with a spoonfull of fat free vanilla yogurt is really great for stress-food-cravings cause it feels like eating chips and dip).

Welcome back...

I know how you feel about wishing you were born skinny AND with smaller tata's.

You have done it once and you can do it again.

Good luck - I am sure you will do marevolous.
