Daily Chat Sunday 2.3
Good morning all,
I'm at school early to use the computers to try and plan out my week of WW points. I find I'm actually pretty intimidated to count points instead of calories, so I'm hoping that if I make a plan, it'll be easier. I've also decided to skip all the SuperBowl festivities so that I can go food shopping and cook some things for the week. I really don't care about football anyway. Manda -- sorry about the pants situation. It is totally weird, right?? By the way, where in Jersey are you from? I'm from South Orange... Have a fun day all!! S |
Good morning! I wish I could say the same about skipping superbowl stuff. I love football, don't care too much about the Giants and Patriots..but I can't seem to get away from the snacks and atmosphere of the superbowl.
Besides the beer, I am going to make healthy (kinda) snacks and try to control myself haha. We'll see. I am about to jump on the eliptical..then we are going to buy a gym membership. Though I don't have the extra money, I think it is something I really need to do. I hope everyone has a good rest of their day. |
I soo don't want to be up right now. I swear I woke up about 50 times last night. I did that the night before. What is with that? I was going to do this yoga routine for better sleep (what the hey) but thought dh might make fun of me. I feel like I'm retaining water today. Which is strange because I drank the daily recommended yesterday. AND I weighed in at 178 this morning. What the crap?!?! I'm getting so frustrated with food. Anyone know how to jump start or re-start your metabolism? Is it possible? Ah well, got to get us ready for church. I REALLY don't feel like going anywhere but I know I'm going to anyway. Talk to you girls later. BTW, I was looking at all the pics that people have posted. You all are SO adorable!!! I'm going to steal suitejudy's hair OMG!!! It's gorgeous!!! Ok, bye!

Ughn. Yesterday was a bad.. bad... BAD day...
I ate.. such junk. I ate about 1000 mg of sodium MORE than I should have, which I'm hoping to god is why the scale read 164.5 this morning. :( I'm also hoping that this is a result of my TOM which should be hitting in like a day and a half. :( Anyhow, I'm gonna try desperately to be back OP today to make up for yesterday, which was oh-so-horrific... :( |
ok, so I figured out what happened yesterday. I looked up Macaroni Grill's bread on the daily plate which is closest to carino's bread. It had over 1,000 mg of sodium. Yea.......I'll weigh again in a couple days.....LOL

jelbb: OMG we did the same thing! I don't feel so terrible. LOL I'm so sorry, dear. But I'm sure your weight is about what is was yesterday or whatever day it said 162. If I had known how much sodium was in that bread, I would NEVER have eaten it....well....not as much as i did anyway....

I really wanted to do something for the superbowl since I actually HAVE the channel this year. But there's no one. I'll probably just watch it by myself. I only really watch it to see the ending score and the commercials. Hee hee |
Hello everyone! Going to a SB party today. Well, not really a party, but a get-together. Today, I'm sure I will go off plan, but I don't care. I allow myself these days anyway. I'm still trying to decide what I'm going to take. I'll figure something out.
Man, I didn't want to get up this morning either. I'm still feeling really tired. I'm scared to get on the scale, so I'm waiting until Tues. or Wed. My weigh-in at work is Thursday, so I'm hoping I will be down a pound or two by then. I hope everyone has a great day. Oh, are we starting up the weekly threads again today? |
Hey Ladies
Today is a big cooking day for me, as I'm working the next 8 days (2 out of town). I'm making homemade pop tarts for my bf to take back with him, and for me I'm baking some light cornbread (made with yogurt and ww flour), a japanese chicken dish and enchilada soup minus the cheese. No superbowl parties for me, just going to my parents' house for supper. |
I feel ya on the hot wings! They are my FAVORITE thing. I called yesterday and placed an order for 30 of them for our get together tonight. Good thing there will be like 10 people here or I'd eat them all myself. I have no self control when it comes to those juicy, hot, spicy, morsels of delight.

MMMMMmmmm, wings. That's one of the reasons I am here today, lol. Try baking some crunchy chicken nuggets and topping them with hot sauce. I think I actually like them better, since there's no skin/bone in the way!

Hey everyone!
Finally, I have a chance to settle in and catch up on my 3FC reading. Work was insane this week. I mean, I actually had to work like the entire time. Haha, I kid. Seriously, though. Crazy week. I won't get into the drama because ya know, the week is over! Sooooo, good news! I weighed in at 186 this morning, down from 190 last week! Seriously, I'm in the 180's again!!!! :carrot: I'm making my way towards my V-day goal of 180. Woo, let's doooo this! Even though I don't like the two teams in the Superbowl this year, I looooooooove football and have to watch. But no big Superbowl party for me; just heading over to my parents to watch it with the family. Thanksfully, my mom is doing the cooking so she's making sure to prepare healthy snacks that I can eat. She's the best. illbehotoneday My gym membership is seriously one of the best payments I make each month, if that makes any sense. What gym are you joining? Okay, I'm gonna look for some pictures to post in the picture thread. Seeing everyong is great. Y'all are some beautiful people! |
I am avoiding Super Bowl festivities as well. I finally got my diet a bit on track and I know I'd ruin it at an SB party. Besides I hate the Giants, so I don't feel like watching them. And I have a ton of work to do, so I figured I'd try to be productive instead.
