Water is to us like oil is to a car. What car runs well without oil?

I never used to like/believe in the whole "drink more water=lose weight" thing, but I forced myself to try it and it just stuck with me. Now if I don't have a water bottle handy I really notice my thirst in a way I never did before. It makes me feel better and I recommend that others at least give it a try, even if you don't feel particularly thirsty... after a week, you may get used to it, and if studies indicate it MAY help lose weight, then what do you have to lose?
Like others have said though, just do what works for you. If you really hate drinking water, it's probably not worth it, but if you're kind of indifferent, you should give it a try. |
Wow, I make a post...come back the next day and there are already 2 pages to read through. LOl Thanks guys!
I think my problem is that I sit in an office for 10 hours a day and am just not thirsty. I only really drink water when I'm working out. Or just thirsty. Thanks for all the info!:dizzy: |

When I started out I was 403lbs and I totally owe my weight lose to water. It was the only thing I changed at first. I drank a gallon a day and the weight fell off. Now I have to actually diet :( lol but the water does help me feel full! :)
