Introductions

Hi all - My name is Meg, I will be 27 on friday (which I think makes me officially part of this group). I gained almost 100lbs while pregnant with my son zooming me up from a size 6 to a size 18...since then I have been finishing grad school, dealing as a single mama etc and packed on another 30 or so lbs and now weigh in at 246lbs (and to think i use to cringe when the scale tipped 130!) My son is now 2.5 yrs old and I can no longer call my extra baggage baby weight so I have decided to finally make the changes neccesary in my life to get healthy again! I have joined MRC and have had great results so far - I would love to hook up with a diet buddy (maybe even another single mom) to share inspiration and encouragment with - PM me if you are intereasted and i will give you my email address. :carrot:

Welcome to the board! Wow, you sound absolutely inspired and full of confidence. :D
Ontop of your diet buddy(ies), you should join in every few days on the "weekly chat" thread, it's a really great place to check in, let us know how you're doing on your plan that day and tell us what else is going on in your life. :)
Hope to see you around!

Nice to meet you!

Hey Everyone!

My name is Bianca and I'm 22. In college, especially in my first 2 years I would party all the time and eat at the weirdest hours. I've tried diet plans in the past and I never stuck to them. Now that I am at my highest weight, 169.5 lbs, I just want to get back to a healthy weight. I am in my first year of graduate school and I just purchased my first home with my boyfriend. My life is on a roll now, and now my health needs to be.

I look forward to reading posts and posting my own, and hopefully meeting some great people!

yep yep yep--- our excuses only get us so far, it's just determining when we're going to admit that's all they are--- EXCUSES. Welcome--- you have found a great place with inspiring people and inspiring stories. If others, other normal people, other people eating normal foods, if they can do it, so can you and I!

Welcome Meg and Bianca...

Meg - I too was lots smaller before I had kids. Isn't it funny the things that those little mosters do to our bodies, but they are so worth it. I am a single mom to a son (9) and a daughter (7).

This is a great place to find tons of support and motivation - just jump right in!

Hi My name is Christina,

I'm also new the board. I weight 140 pounds and would like to weight approx. 115-120. I'm 26 years old and have been married for 2 1/2 years. I think being comfortable in my relationship cause a lot of my weight again. I sort of gave up!
