Go Christine! yea, I agree with "S". Go for a walk and if it turns sour, just go back. I had a similar problem today. I was sooo wanting to stop by a fast food place on the way home from church just so I wouldn't have to cook lunch. But i refused and came home to make a chicken caesar salad. It was really good too! Even thought I don't have caesar dressing.
I think I am going to stick to the elliptical. At least until I get my weight down. My knee really didn't start bothering me until I got big pregnant. I think it was when I got around 170. That and my wedding rings wouldn't fit anymore. I have the band on now but I can't wear the diamond. C'mon you GOT to wear that one! I'm hoping to have it on my finger when hubby leaves for deployment.
Oh, and about 3FC...I'm sooo grateful! I've had such a better time with losing weight since I joined. Except for the couple of months I lost my 'puter AND during the holidays. But I'm BACK BABY!

I think I just realized today, I have been waiting for that moment when I finally "win" my battle with my weight... and it's really not about winning THE battle... it is about having a succession of small victories, every day.

(Sorry if it sounds corny or whatever! It just struck me as being true.)

HappyMomma-Just one more thing we have to talk about. Your setting a goal for when your husband deploys, I'm setting a goal for when my husband comes back from deployment, April 29th. This is our first deployment and I so want to look slammin' when he gets back! Good luck to you, I know you can do it, and your hubby will be proud. Tell him thank you from our family to yours.

MissChris-LOOK AT YOU! January 6th and you've already got over a quarter of your goal done! Amazing woman! And also congrats on the snacks at the movies, you should be proud of yourself!

I, myself, have overcome some major temptations. All the candy at WalMart for the Christmas stuff is 75% off. Did I take a second look? NO! So not like me! I usually use the sale for an excuse to buy that mess! Woohoo!
