See, my problem isn't eating before I go to bed... my problem is waking up in the middle of the night and eating a snack then. One of those, well I'm awake, so I might as well eat something kind of things. I used to eat chips, or make nachos or something like that when I woke up at night, and now I've scaled down to fruit snacks...hopefully soon I can scale down to...nothing =) If only I could just zonk out and sleep throughout the whole night, I'd be just fine!

I haven't been really craving anything at nighyt recently. I think it was since I started taking my hoodia again. But before I would eat like 1Tblsp of natural peanut butter with a small handful of kashi crackers. It really seemed to help and it kept my metabolism up all night so that I woke up hungry for breakfast! I will probably try the tooth brushing thing too right after supper if my cravings start to come back.

Hey, how do you like hoodia? I tried it once but it didn't really wrok too well for me?!

yeah id say give in but plan for it - get a 100 cal pop corn bag. eat a yogurt. a peice of fruit etc. but just 1, one time and thats it! haha thats the hard part huh?

This is why I love 3FC. I was thinking about snacking on some Oreos but then I come here and realize really I'd rather have a 100 cal popcorn. :D

I have my food spread out from the time I get up until the time I go to bed. Always plenty for the day and never a time I need to munch because I have so much I need to eat. Maybe spreading out meals a bit would help with those night munchies. From what the docs have told me, you do not gain weight by eating to close to bed time. Calories in calories out that is how it works.

Whenever I get hungry and I know its too late to eat, and no matter how tired I am I go to the gym, walk my dog, or go for a walk with my bf. I find that after you have done some sort or exercise I feel bad and won't waste it all and eat.

Maybe do an at home workout DVD to get your mind off if it too.
