Default New 20-Something here, where do I begin?

Hello everyone, as a newbie, does anyone have any suggestions on where to begin? Please feel free to read more about me in the introductions section. I am just feeling a little overwhlemed right now and don't know where to start. Thanks!

I've gotten that feeling many times while losing weight, and every time what seems to work for me is waking up in the morning and determining to, for one day, write down all my calories in and calories out. No pressure or limits on how much I can eat - just the act of writing it down for one or a few days gets me "aware" again, and optimistic again that I'm taking control...
Also, coming on this forum an a nightly basis has been something nice and encouraging to look forward to!

Thanks for the advice gals, I think I will begin by logging everything. It's been one week exactly and I have lost 5 lbs just by cutting majorly down on carbs, drinking tons of water and ice tea (just can't live w/out the stuff) and taking Alli.
This weekend I am going to implement getting "physical" by taking short walks and eventually getting into the gym on Monday.
I'm so excited and nervous at the same time, hoping that I don't fall off the wagon yet again.
