It's that time again... Everybody JOIN in on another monthly challenge we've all grown to know and love! Summer is here! Time for water sports and beaches!

Set your own fitness goals.
You can join in at ANY time.

1. Post a reply in this forum with your goals.
2. Write down all the dates of August so you can keep on track with your goal (or add days as the month progresses)
3. EDIT your post everyday/or when you have the chance with your progress.
4. If you need anything or have any questions PM the 20-something's moderator, trnsfrmnreplace (me).
5. The numbers are minutes of exercise by the way. You can also use icons to note that you have done an exercise or goal for the day

Goals: Complete the c25k program then run 30 min 3 times a week, 3 resistance workouts per week, and do my ab workout 6 times a week with 1 rest day.

I've already made it a month and a half...so here's to another one!

August 1: 30 min cardio, ab workout

August 3: 30 min cardio, 30 min walk, ab workout

This is the goal i am setting for myself.
Minimum of 2 x 30 mins of cardio EVERYDAY
Swim atleast 2 x per week
Yoga on alternate days
Wake up early in the mornings- NO sleepin past 6 o CLOCK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Harsh!!!! but i really have to shift the pounds this august! or else ........ grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr ................. i will be really angry with myself!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I completely bombed my July goals. Luckily I didn't gain any weight, but I didn't lose any either.

My goal is to go to the gym at least 4x a week, and step up my cardio from 30 minutes to 45. I want to make my Sept. 1 goal, so I will be working hard this month.

Hi everyone! I kinda lost track of my weight loss efforts studying for the nursing boards, but now I passed and I'm back!
My August Goals!!!
-Run 25 mins without stopping by 8/31 (doing the c25k program again- just going through it faster)
-lift most days of the week
-1000 minutes of cardio at least
-oh and no pop! (this one will be hard since I work nights)

1. c25k w1d3 + extra walking total 30 mins (will add more later)
2. worked all day, was on my feet walking- but I wont count it.
3. c25k w2d1 + extra walking total 95 mins
4. 15 cardio and lifted
5. c25k w2d2 + walking total 45 mins
6. nothing...boo
7. c25k w2d3 + walking total 41 mins on treadmill. Lifted legs
First week total minutes: 226/226


8. 31 min walk (wt on the scale this am: 183 yay)
9. c25k w3d1 + walking total 30 mins- lifted legs
10.wt this am: 182 no exercising
11. c25k w3d2 + walking total 30 mins. Lifted legs
12. 60 min walk lifted arms
13. c25k w3d3 + walking total 60 mins + lifted legs
14. nothing...

I did so good with the July one so I'll join this too. I didn't do the Cto5K because it has been so hot and it's so much easier to pop a video in. I'll have to try that over as soon as it gets nice out again. And I bet it will be a little easier now that I am in a little better shape.

So, I think I'll keep it at at least 180 minutes each week.
