Default boobs!

Sorry for the crude title..

When I was thinner in my teens, my chest was smaller than it is now (40 lbs later..). I've grown to like my new chest, and really don't want to lose it. I read somewhere that many women don't develop their full chest until they are into their 20's. Could this be the case? I'm hoping it is..

But, my luck it's not, and I'm going to lose my boobs just like I grew 'em.. So, my other question is, is there anything I can do to prevent this?

When I lost weight before my boobs were the first thing to go.. I went from a large C to almost an A. If I had kept losing, my boobs would have been nonexistent.. If you find a way to keep them let me know.. LOL

I don't know if it's true that you fully develop in your 20's but I went from a full C to a DDD after I gained about 80lbs out of high school. I lost about 20lbs so far and I am currently between both a DD and a DDD depending on the bra style. I think most people will lose a cup or 2 after weight loss. Thank goodness there are wonder bras.

I was a 36C in high school. I am currently the same weight as I was in high school and I wear a 36D. I just turned 30 and I haven't had any children yet, so I think it quite possible that your breasts continue to develop into your 20's. I'm not sure if chemical forms of birth control have anything to do with my increased cup size or whether it was just continued development.

As far as I know, there is no way to keep from losing weight in the chest area. When I started losing I was a 42D, even though they are the same cup size with a much smaller band they are still smaller than before (just in proportion to the rest of me now.)

I went up to a D cup well after I got into my 20's, then I lost 55 lbs.....and I'm still a D cup
So who knows, they may still get smaller as I lose more weight but I hope not too!

thanks guys.. I went from a 34B to a 34C (sometimes 36 depending on the style bra..), and while it's not much, it's nice to having something there.. Thank goodness for pushup bras, is right!

If my boobs shrink, I'm screwed...there's not much shrinkage room! The girls are already lacking in size...AHHH! Maybe I'll just lose some of that "side boob" and keep the rest? OH, or maybe the side boob will migrate inward?! Hey, a girl can hope!

I am down 25 lbs so far, and my boobs haven't shrunk at all. That makes me happy LOL.

Well, I'm not exactly small now (still a 34G), but I've lost 15 inches around my chest, so definite boob loss. My mother even called me flat chested the other day (she was kidding of course, but it was funny, believe me I've never been called that!).

I have almost no boobs anyway...when I gained weight they went up to a B cup and now I'm back down to just scraping an A.

Ah well...I come from a family of flat chested women and of all of us I probably have the most lol.

in the boob area , i dont know . i read somewhere being over weight prevents your body from fully developing , so i had all this hope that me losing weight would allow my boobs to grow since EVERYONE in my family have dd and im barely a C but only now that im over weight i dont know if they came because of age or the weight. im scared of losing my boobs, they are important to me.

Hay!
Well i lost 40-45 pounds at the beginning of this year and my boobs stayed exacxtly the same size!
Then i put 20 pounds back on ( REALLY BAD!!) and the still were the same!

But now i have to lose around 80 pounds overall to get to my target weight....... so i really dunno what is going to happen to them?!
My boobs have always been someting in body tht gave me real self-confidence, as opposed to the ret of my body!
and i really DO NOT want to lose them.........
Is there any one who has lost a really major amount of weight ie- 100 -80 pounds and still managed to retain the same boob size?
xxxxxx

I think it's going to totally depend on your body type. I have lost just over 30 lb so far, and I'm still a 34DD -- albeit, my bras are a tiny bit looser than before, and I imagine I'll be settling into a 34D by the time I reach my goal. We'll see. I was a 34B before I started gaining weight at age 22, so I definitely grew in my 20's.
