Hello,

For the last month or so I've been feeling myself back-sliding into this horrible "you're a whale" mindset and it's been driving me quite frankly bonkers.

Anyway, while back at the parents place over easter my sister and I discovered this body-fat measurement tool on the computer. Anyway, my sister is a skinny little thing! She is about 5'7 and I'm 5'6, she weighs 120 pounds and I weigh 138.

My BF is 22 and hers is 23 - hehe...my waist is 25" and hers is 27" - I have to say that has certainly made my week lol

haha, for a moment I thought you were boasting that you had a younger boyfriend (well, you still might) - but a good NSV, that probably means you got more muscles -- and less of the scary "abdominal fat".

Isn't it funny, the way we see ourselves compared to what others see? You think your'e a whale and I am looking at your avatar thinking, "WHY?!?" But I am really glad that you got the boost that you needed. OMG, a 25" waist. Wow. Wow. You are tiiiiiiiiiiny!!

We have around the same stats, except you're A LOT closer to goal than me... very encouraging.. Congrats on the NSV

Lyria- just goes to show you can't always judge health and fitness by appearance/comparison.

I will never forget one of the trainers at my old job checking my body fat. 5'7 and 138 and the look on his face when it came out at 17%. He even said, "wow I thought you'd at lease be in the low 20's!"

Thank you sir. But just yesterday, my doctor checked my weight and before switching my pill she said "You shouldn't have to worry about the pill not working- you're just a skinny little thing!" Made my day. Sometimes it takes someone's simple little compliment to get you out of that "funk".

Lyria, you are healthy and and strong (I mean, you run with a man who is like twice as tall as you ) and gorgeous! Do not forget that! And yes, a skinny little thing as well!
