Missing You Girls

  • Hi girls!
    It's been a long time...and I miss you!! I used to be around here all of the time, and the last 9 months (yikes, that seems so long when I write it down) I've really gotten into some bad habits. I've put on about ten pounds since pre-Holidays, and I just feel icky. I have been traveling every week for work (I fly to my client site) and feel like every day is just a struggle..I'm constantly confronted with hotel food, restaurant food, cafeteria food...my body just feels so overwhelmed with cr*p food that I can't seem to get out of this funk. I really want to start eating better because, obviously, I want to lose these 10 pounds and get back to my last summer weight. More importantly though, I'm training for a marathon! One of my friends was diagnosed with lymphoma a few months ago, so I’m fundraising through Team in Training to raise money for blood cancer research…and I’m going to run the San Diego marathon!! It’s sooo scary Please donate if you can!! (The link is in my signature!) Anyway, nutrition is obviously really important for me as I start getting to some longer runs….Ahh anyway, I need to spend more time back here with you supportive girls and find a way to just say no to all this stuff being shoved in my face every day :/ Any suggestions???
