Hey Everyone! - newbie here...
Hey girls!
Just wanted to introduce myself and hopefully make some new friends on this forum...
Im KT, 22 from Westchester, NY.
Ive been coming to 3FC for about 2 years now, and havent joined the forum til now. Reading your messages to each other, and how you all seem so upbeat and dedicated to your goals is so inspiring.
Ive always been a big girl, but I recently hit my highest weight (220) last July. I didnt really have a "turning point" where I said "thats it, Im not doing this anymore". It was more like a culmination of everything Ive been feeling ever since Ive started gaining again. Im with a wonderful man, whom Ive been with for 3 years, who is also overweight. We decided that after both of us gaining so much weight (him-75 me-50) that we actually had start DOING instead of talking. We started eating healthy and walking a mile every night and soon were rewarded with pounds disappearing. But we started slacking off for some unknown reason and, although we didnt gain the weight back we realized that we had a good thing going and screwed up. Im really looking forward to getting into the zone again but need more motivation other than my boyfriend. Im really looking forward to talking with you all, and being able to help motivate and be motivated :)
Its really comforting to know that Im not alone in my struggle.
