Thanks guys! I'm excited. He surprised me when I got home from work by being ready to take me to dinner so I didn't have to cook. I did pretty well with a half of a modified salad with grilled chicken - though I did have 2 drinks. I figured out my day around 2200 calories for the whole day even with the surprise Applebee's + drinks. Trying to at least make relatively good choices, even if I'm not being perfectly on plan. And at the very least, it's so much better than I used to do. That's progress. Tomorrow, we're off to Newport to go to the aquarium and the shops on the levee and everything. Should be fun with lots of walking. Then, sunday we're going to a festival during the day then Olive Garden at night.
Hope everyone has a spectacular weekend.

Today has been a better day for me. Definitely more energy. Just got done doing a 2.2 mile walk at 3.5 mph. I'm working my way up! Tomorrow will probably be 3.3 miles at the same pace. Thankfully I'm finding it easier and easier to get myself to do some exercise. I hope it keeps up as I plan to run the Disney World Marathon in January of 2013.

Hope everyone is doing well today. Looking forward to seeing some lower numbers tomorrow from everyone!

Tomorrow is our first weigh in ladies!! Whoo hoo one week down! I did a good hour of cardio today at the gym… it felt good, but I was too tired to do any weight training. I’ve been sleeping terribly lately and last night was no exception. Ugh. Oh well, getting my butt up tonight to take my dog on a mile walk! Hoping for a good weigh in tomorrow!

Mhill – I’m so jealous a tax-free weekend?! I could only dream of such a day in Michigan! Hope you got some great deals!

Update: Went to newport on the levee, ate out for lunch and went to a festival completely surrounded with food, plus had some drinks. And kept it to 2100 calories! Yes, that's way more than my consistent daily plan. But considering the celebratory weekend, I am cutting myself a break and super happy that I didn't completely blow it out of the water by letting myself eat everything sight.

Weighed in this morning and down 11 pounds since I started, 10 since I started the challenge and I already feel a little difference in my clothes. I'm sure my weight loss won't stay at such high numbers in the future but I am enjoying it for now! Trying to get as much time in at the gym before school starts again and getting my calories in order. My dog is enjoying it too as we went from walking around the complex which is about .25 a mile to going to the park every night which is a little over a mile. Best wishes for a good first week weigh in ladies!

Kams - Way to go!! Dinner for me tonight was interesting... I tried out a recipe using Shirataki noodles (tofu), I'm a vegetarian and have been trying out new healthier meals but I'm pretty picky! It was ok.

Meliz - Sounds amazing! Hope you had an amazing time!

Was down 4.8 pounds since my initial starting weight, which is encouraging because lately I've felt like such a slug! I just hope I squeaked in for the WI time limit because I've been so slammed all week/weekend and finally just remember to come log in my WI from Sunday morning!

How's everyone doing?? I am at 203.2, so creeping every so slowly to that illusive onederland. I feel like I've been hovering here all summer. I'm really ready to make some change happen!!
