Good morning to you all. Sad news, my baby had to be put to sleep. I questioned the doctor over and over about how Jack and I waited to see if he was just off his feed and did that keep him from getting well, but he said no that his kidneys malfunctioned and that was why the rapid weight loss etc. Man, I have been a mess. I just haven't been able to handle it very well. I keep thinking we should have noticed something bad sooner, etc, but the doctor says it was unusual that he continued to eat, put out urine, etc and that we did nothing wrong. He said it was just one of those things that happens with cats sometimes and there is no kitty dialysis. He tested him for all the cat diseases and he had nothing that would have caused it. Doesn't make me feel any better. The doctor said with the condition of his kidneys, the only thing that would have happened if we had brought him in a couple weeks ago is that they would have had to do this a couple weeks ago. I couldn't face going back to finish up the arrangements and poor Jack had to handle it alone. He was as torn up as I. He said Doc Montgomery told him that if B had been his kitty he would have had to do the same thing and he was sorry.
Jean: What a stupid place to have a party. I mean, some people won't go into a casino for heaven's sake. Do well on the bells. We will be listening!
Sounds like that teacher is a real pistol.
Susan: Hope Stan gets totally better really quickly. Ok, so what if Stan decides to heck with trying the graft thing again, what adverse effects would it cause or maybe I should say, just what will happen then? That man has been through so much. You would think he could have some quality health time for awhile.
Big mistake with the movie. Oh, it was wonderful, you should go see it, but bring a box of kleenex. I knew it was about two guys who met in the hospital, one rich and one a mechanic, and knew that they were dying and so composed the "bucket list" about things they wanted to do before they kicked the bucket, but the trailers made it seem like it was very funny. Instead it only had a couple of amusing moments but focused on the lonliness of the rich guy and the emotional thing of the mechanic and with the thing with B, I bawled through most of the movie. Here I was convincing Jack we should get out of the house because we were sitting around crying and stuff and I take him to a sad movie!
They have my enema appt set up and I got all my questions answered so now all I have to do is pick up the junk I have to drink from Walgreens across the street (as soon as she calls it in) and then just wait.
Life goes on, but it will not be the same without our B.
Have a nice Saturday everyone.
