Question Any cereal suggestions?

I love having cereal for breakfast or snacks. Usually it's cherrios or oatmeal. I am ready to try something tastey, not sugary and more than 1/3 of a cup. Do you have any suggestions. What kind of cereal you like?

Thanks!

Beverly

I live for Kashi Go Lean. I admit, at first I thought it tasted like cardboard - ! But now I really love it. It's very filling, and I usually slice a banana onto it, too - it's the only thing other than oatmeal that keeps me feeling full until after 1pm!!

cool - another person here that loves Kashi - go lean. I mix mine with yogurt (instead of milk) - adds more flavour, but not more calories. This way each day is a different flavour too - banana cream pie, raspberry, etc. Filling cereal too!

I don't eat a bunch of cereal because I'm more of a breakfast sandwich type of person, but when I do its Kashi Go Lean or oatmeal with raisins.

I'm going on a whim, and I'll take Door Number 3... I'm not a morning cereal girl. It just doesn't do it for me. Too little protein and leaves me hungry the rest of the day no matter what I eat. So I spray two slices of double fiber bread :yes I am a regular girl : with Olive Oil cooking spray, then pile on fat free turkey and a slice of fat free sharp cheddar cheese :think - yummo!:, put it together like a sandwich and toast it. I have a glass of skim milk and some fresh fruit. And of course I take my daily multivitamin and pine nut oil caps, and I'm good til lunch. I even tried oatmeal and I was still starving by 10am, but I eat this around 8:10 or so, and it lasts me til noon.

I LOVE Natures Path Flax Plus Granola. Have to be very careful with it though because well, it's granola...and it is just that good. It's like a dessert when I put some drinkable yogurt on it! My kiddos love it as well. It does have organic evaporated cane juice (sugar) in it though...so not what you're looking for.

I love Fiber One and Fiber One Honey Clusters. I know, gross. Fiber. But it's really delicious and with that fiber count, who can object.

I also love a bowl of fruity cheerios for dessert.

I love mixing 1/2 cup plain nonfat yogurt with chopped up strawberries, 1/3 cup low fat granola and a teaspoon of honey drizzled on.
Not overly sweet - but this lasts me all morning!
