Default Chestnuts Roasting by an Open Fire?

Anyone know if chestnuts are SBD friendly? I bought some and would love to have a few roasted in the, er, oven...

I can't think of any reason why they wouldn't be SBD friendly. Personally I prefer water chestnuts.

Well, per Fitday, they are higher in carbs (14 to 4) and lower in protein (1 to 4) than the same measurement of walnuts. I'd be careful.

Wow! That's a big difference!! I suppose I'll have just one or two, and enjoy them for the rare treat that they'll be. Thanks!!
