Default My Promise in 2008

As of today, and my ongoing efforts on getting fit. I won't rely on the scale, I had enough on the scale and determines my mood changes..and leading me false hope. The only way for me to be patient on not hopping a scale daily and rely on NSVs methods.

So, My promise to myself and share it on here is to focus other methods besides the scale.

I will focus on my fitness quest

I will say NO to tempting foods near me and GET OUT AN WALK!

I will lose inches and start wearing jewlery when my fist NSV goal is to fit on my hearts bracelet.

I will eat healthy and not overdoing it.

Thank you for letting me share this..

Have a great one!

Lilian, that is a very good plan! The scale can be so discouraging sometimes--it's good to look beyond it!

We are with you all the way! Keep us posted! Another thing you can do is to log on to 3FC and read the posts and reply when you are feeling tempted by food (and can't get out for that walk).

You can do this!

Jay

Okay Lilian. I hope you are not trying to eat too little. Cause that in itself is a recipe for disaster.

Yes, Liliann, we most definitely ARE here for you. I think your plan sounds great.

Try and incorporate long lasting, better habits into your daily life. Cut back on the fattening condiments, the caloric beverages, eat white meat chicken instead of dark, snack on fruits instead of chips and cookies, salads and veggies as side dishes instead of rice, potatoes and pasta. Start off the day right with a healthy breakfast. Oatmeal and an egg white omlette. Better habits - that you will use forever. You CAN do this Liliann. This really and truly can be YOUR year. How cool would that be? Good luck to you and remember, whatever you need, 3FC is here for you.

WHat I meant by that was you said you have a hard time staying on plan. So what I was trying to ask is if when you are "on plan" if you are eating too little and your body rebels. Hope that made more sense.

i know when we have more to lose, we are able to eat more and still lose.
