I just read an article about a woman in Kansas who started a Tumbleweed business. It actually started as a joke in 1994. She was trying to learn to make a website. She got an order! Then another and another! She sold to NASA for the Mars Tumbleweed Rover. They list her farm on their website. Hollywood has bought them for old west type settings. Many upscale dept. stores have ordered them (Ralph Lauren, etc). She's not shipping all over the world.

Gee! If you live on the Plains or in the central valley in Calif., why don't you start selling those puppies?

I've thought about picking one up when I visit my friend. I'd like to spray paint it and use it as part of our outdoor Christmas decorations. Hmmmm. Got me to thinking now.
