Good morning everyone!
I finally posted in the Introductions thread yesterday after lurking on the forums for a couple of weeks. Clydegirl invited me here (thanks, and hi!
) and I'm glad to join the group. There is so much support and friendship here, and I'm very glad to have found 3FC!
I'm 42, married (2nd time) with a 13 year old daughter from my first marriage. My weight is probably the thing that I feel is the biggest issue in my life right now and I finally realized that time just marches on yet the Thin Fairy hasn't found me yet, so I'm going to have to do this by myself! Actually, I did have some success with weight loss surgery a couple of years ago but I've been stuck at pretty much the same weight here for about 2 years, and it's not anywhere near the goal I set for myself. Although I'd love to be 170 again (the weight I was in high school, and looked great!) or even below, at this point I'd be happy just to get to onederland. It's great to be making this journey with others who are my age and know just how tough this can be!
