Anybody else feeling it! Suddenly it's Friday and the good feeling of the oncoming weekend is trumping all the bad crap from the week. In 7 hours I'll be on my way home to whip up a healthy dinner with my friend who I haven't seen in over a year.... Tomorrow we are going to get up early and head north to hit some hiking trails...it's supposed to be 80* and sunny here....Nothing can bring me down today!

Anybody else happy it's Friday or have fun weekend plans!!

Ahhh, yes - TGIF. We've had a pretty rough week around here as well.

I have 4 couples coming over tomorrow afternoon between the hours of 3 and 6. So, I'll be serving lots of "snack" foods. Not going to be easy. I've been baking up a storm. And come tomorrow, I'll be peeling, chopping and slicing up a storm (veggies and fruit). My plan is to try and stick to the veggies as much as possible and avoid all those baked goods I'm making. I've been trying to be extra vigilent this week, just in case I dip into the blondies, apple/raisin/walnut cake, lemon glazed poppy seed mini-cupcakes and/or chocolate coffee cake that I've made.

Yes! I love the chance to sit down and watch a little TV on Friday evenings. I have several shows to choose from tonight on TiVo.

Amen to that! I've been looking forward to this weekend for awhile. It won't be terribly relaxing, but my boyfriend & I are throwing a small dinner party for the parents to tell them we're engaged.
