Default kombucha

I was not feeling that great today and decided to buy a bottle of kombucha tea at my local health food store for four dollars a bottle.

The drink claims to have many health benefits. So has anyone used this drink to help with weight loss? One of the claims is that it can curb your appetite.
I did notice that I was very full after drinking it and do not feel hungry at all.

I <3 kombucha! It is expensive though. I used to drink it as a "treat" and it did make me have to urinate a lot, immediately after drinking it. I also get a little "buzz" off it! It can be made at home too, very cost effectively, and if done properly, it is safe and fun!

Yup, it gave me buzz, and I lost my appetite. It also completely stopped my stomach problems, supposedly it is very good for digestion because of the good bacteria.

From what I read is it seems to work, but there have been no real studies on it, although there have been proven negative effects, (nausea vomiting, jaundice, allergic reactions) But it seemed to help me and I don't think it was a placebo effect. This product also seems to be very popular.

I have it in tea bags, but haven't tried it yet. Not entirely sure how that works, but I liked the bottled versions as well.

Is it Yogi Tea Green Tea Kombucha (or one of their others?) ? That is such a great tea (one of my favorites) but it doesn't have the same benefits as fresh kombucha.
