Talking First Mini-Goal Met *&* New Onederland'r!

I've officially lost my first 22 lbs., which meets my first mini-goal to lose 20 lbs. by 12/31/07 (I wasn't sure how long it would take).

AND I weighed in at 198.3, which means I'm now in Onederland!!

My nurse practioner has been encouraging me for a couple years to lose weight ... I always acted interested and told her I'd definitely work on it, but never did ... till July 1. So it was great to be able to share this mini-goal victory with her when I weighed in.

She wrote me a medical excuse for jury duty due to a medical condition, but joked that she'd write that I was "too skinny" for jury duty, ha ha ha!!

Default Congratulations!

That is very exciting!! How proud you must be!!

I am just now starting on my weight lose journey. I have tried to lose weight before but to no avail. I need to lose 50 lbs. Well 65 actually. I am such an emotional eater though, its almost like coming off drugs having to lose weight! Your post is very inspiring; if you have any tips I would love to hear them! =) Well I know what to do its just doing that is the problem. Always excuses for me. Too busy with work or kids to excersise, etc. etc.
