Hello everyone! My name is Christin, I just found this site, and I think it looks really fun!! I am a mother of a beautiful 1 year old lil' girl, and am trying to lose all that baby weight! Before I got preggo I was 224, the day I gave birth I was 300! I am now 280. I want to have my wedding day body back!! I was around 190 when I got married, and have been up and down since then(never below 190ish) I have been a big girl my whole life, and I am okay with not being a stick, but I want to look good for my hubby, I want to be healthy for my baby girl, and I want to feel better about my appearance for me! I can't wait to get to know everyone better!
This is indeed a wonderful place, full of some of the most supportive people around who will cheer you on and support you, but who will also give you a good kick in the behind if you need it.
I have been a part of this forum since January 2007, and I can say this is THE BEST support community you will find for your weight loss journey! Glad to have you join us. I look forward to getting to know you and seeing your progress as we travel together to better health and thinner bodies!

Glad you found us. I was around your starting weight, and didn't think I would be able to loose anything, but I even surprised myself. If I can do this, anyone can.

Welcome Christin!!! I've only been on here for a week, but have been so encouraged reading past posts and seeing that others have "made" it. I'm looking forward to getting to know you. I think I like the challenges the best because it keeps me motivated not to cheat "just this once" because then I won't reach my goal in front of everyone. LOL
Now, I'm off to homeschool my children...the best part of my day!! Have a great first week.
