Well, you know what they say, it's not
what you eat, but
how much. Which is true. I mean, you can eat candy and pizza every day if you wanted to, as long as you stayed within your calorie range.
However, my personal philosophy is it's both
what and
how much. Yes, I'm a calorie counter and I weigh and measure just about everything I eat. And I'll probably have to do that for the rest of my lift. But WHAT I eat is as important to me as how much. I want my calories to be healthy calories. So I eat plenty of veggies, lean meats and whole grains. Sure I have pizza occasionally and things I wouldn't normally eat on a daily basis. I'm in this for life, I want to eat my favorite foods now and then and I refuse to deprive myself. But 90% of the time I eat healthy. And I LOVE eating healthy! It not only makes me feel good physically, but mentally as well
