Default Sauna?

Hey, yall! Do any of you guys use the sauna or plan to? I know it's really great for the skin and getting toxins out the body. I planned on doing it one day but when I went to step inside I was like damn that's hot. lol How hot is it supposed to be in there? What do you wear in the sauna and how long do you stay?

I LOVE the sauna.

My preference is around 140 degrees. Try to wear nothing...or maybe a towel. don't have anything on your skin like oil, or anything.

I have heard that is supposed to really open your pores and then getting in cool water afterwards closes them again!

Be a little careful with the sauna. My brother is slightly asthmatic and has real breathing issues if he uses a sauna. I've also heard that it can be dangerous if you have any blood pressure issues or are on certain meds.

Personally, I love them. I like the way you sweat gallons. It feels good like all the bad's coming out. I wear a towel and just look at the floor. Eye contact is kind of frowned upon if the sauna is co-ed.

I have been utilizing the sauna at the YMCA for awhile now. I'm not sure how hot it is, but I can say it is friggen hot! I enjoy watching the sweat poor off of me. I am reading a cheesy book that I bought, but before I recommend this, be very careful! the glue on the binding melted off, and the book is in chunks now. I stay for only 1/2 an hr, as they say anything more then that is dangerous. I just wear a pair of shorts, and thats it.

Just make sure to drink water afterwards to replace what came out. Dehydration is bad

I think I must be the only person to hate the sauna. I hate how it's so hot and humid and you just sit there and sweat, not my idea of a fun time! lol
