Unhappy pain in the wrist (not arse)

I was goofing around with my husband last night when I went to backhand him on the backside. He locked his arm to block me and when he did, the side of his wrist came in contact with the side of mine. HE is nothing but bones and I heard a snap and its been hurting really bad ever since. I can barely pick my coffee cup up and I dont dare move it due to the pain.

I made an appt with the dr today at 4 to see whats going on. I hope is nothign serious, it will really put a damper on my gym abilities if it is.

So sorry to hear about that, Cara. Those obstacles can be so frustrating. Hope all turns out well.

Ouch! I hope it is nothing major, but even if it is, you can get through it. And just think of all the pampering your hubby will have to do for all the terrible abuse, lol. Keep us updated.

As someone who literally earns a living with the wrists, I can SO very much sympathize with you! I am a medical transcriptionist, and I am CONSTANTLY reminding my husband to be careful of my wrists (especially if he wants me to keep contributing to the bank account every two weeks! )! I do hope everything is okay and maybe it was just a contusion (bruised muscle or blood vessels) or something of that nature and not a fracture!

Well the Dr. said he doesnt know if my wrist is fractured or just bruised. He wanted me to go for an xray but the treatment would be the same whether it is fractured or just bruised so I didnt go. Im trying to save money for my surgery and just didnt see a point in paying $100 for the xray if i wasnt getting a cast. It does still hurt and its still painful trying to pick things up. Defientely can do weights with my hand for now, but I figured I could work lower body and do the elliptical.
